 Discover Scuba Diving in Cozumel  

Have you ever wondered what it's like to breathe underwater? Then the Discover Scuba Diving experience at Cozumel Dive Academy is for you. Offered daily with one of our experienced, patient PADI instructors. 

While not an actual scuba certification, during your Discover Scuba Diving experience, you'll learn how to use scuba equipment while enjoying an easy introduction to what it is like to explore the underwater world.

During your Discover Scuba Diving experience, you will: 

• Go over the scuba equipment used and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.
• Find out what it's like to breathe underwater.
• Learn the essential skills that you'll use during every scuba dive.
• Have fun swimming around and exploring as you complete an open water dive.
• Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course.

All the necessary equipment is included, but if you have your own mask, fins, and snorkel, feel free to bring them.

All our Discover Scuba Diving experiences are scheduled around your needs.

Prerequisites:

• Be at least 10 years old.
• Complete a PADI Medical Statement If you answer "yes" to any of the questions, you must obtain a physician's approval before participating in any in-water activities. You can download and review the Medical Statement HERE.
